Welcome to S80 Streaming Media, LLC (“S80”), an rVibe (www.rvibe.com) partner company. These two companies (which are merging to form one company called rVibe) together provide a high quality, interactive, end-to-end live streaming, Video on Demand and music sharing experience. We are passionate about live concerts and music and our mission (and dedication) is to bring the excitement, creativity and spontaneity of a live concert to as many online viewers as possible complemented by a rich catalog of downloadable music. Dr. Braydon Johnson-McCormick Co-Founder and CEO

Braydon has over 15 years of IT Platform Development experience with Fortune 50 Corporations and a PhD in Music from Boston University. He has managed teams to deliver $50M in projects with over 20% ROI on time and under budget and negotiated contracts with major vendors and partners. He has produced several albums and has written music for film. In his spare time he enjoys spending time with his family.

Christopher Benes Co-Founder and CTO

With more than 16 years experience developing, managing and leading global engineering teams in the development of real-time embedded, networking, DSP and GUI software, Chris has a passion for creating and integrating new technologies to solve problems and produce new products and services. He's led and managed distributed global teams of 30+ engineers and multi-million dollar budgets to deliver software applications using agile methodologies for professional audio systems and telecommunications equipment at Tellabs, Motorola, Applied Telecom and Shure. He loves live music and theater and even took some improv classes at Second City in Chicago, where he lives. He enjoys flying, hiking and Blackhawk hockey. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University.

Ronald Bautista Staff Engineer

With over 15 years experience architecting, designing and implementing embedded firmware and GUI software for real-time systems, there isn't a software problem Ron can't solve. He honed his professional skills at Tellabs, Motorola and Wind River, where he designed and wrote device drivers and application software for telecommunication systems and GUI control applications. He has a B.S. in Computer Science from Michigan State University. In his spare time, he enjoys home remodeling. He's based in Chicago.

Andy Gallas Systems Engineer

Andy has over 11 years experience in the professional audio industry in both live and studio applications. He is proficient with Pro Tools and analog and digital audio interfaces and mix consoles, including PreSonus, Apogee, MOTU and FocusRite. He's worked with Billboard 100 recording artists in the studio and on tour. He has a degree from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences and enjoys grilling out on his deck that has incredible views of the Chicago skyline.

Seth Handler Director of Events

After realizing it takes a little more than just being from New Jersey to be the next Bruce Springsteen, Seth decided the next best thing was to work with great musicians. As an employee of rVibe since the very beginning, it's his mission to make sure that great musical acts get their live performances seen and heard by every single person with access to a computer. In his free time, you can catch Seth in the stands at Yankee Stadium or religiously listening to the radio show that gave him his start in the entertainment industry, The Howard Stern Show.

Chad Heimbecker Staff Engineer

Chad has over 15 years experience providing information technology, product development, and other professional services to a number of businesses in a variety of industries including biomedical, financial, industrial fabrication, and Internet commerce. He is proficient in Linux system administration, software development (including Flex), strategic planning, and multimedia production. He is a singer/songwriter and enjoys motor sports, hiking and backpacking, SCUBA, and video games. He received his B.S. in Biology / Computer Science from Muhlenberg College.

Stavros Kakopieros Systems Engineer

Born and raised on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus, Stavros begun playing guitar in bands in high school and at the same time discovered his passion for composition and recording. In 2004 he moved to New York City where he entered the music and audio technology undergraduate degree program at the Sonic Arts Center of the City College of New York. When not streaming live concerts online, he records/edits/mixes shows for a local New York City public radio station and is part of the audio team at Bennett Media Studio/Culture Catch. In his spare time he writes and produces music, some of which can be found at Think Music.

Lauren McNamee Community Manager

Lauren hails from the snowy state of Colorado. While love for The Dead and Led Zeppelin came early on in life, Lauren sticks to her roots but now focuses on the Indie, Electro, and Reggae/Dub scenes - developing a musical taste that can only be described as wildly eclectic. Through previous gigs (including one at Madison Square Garden) Lauren realized that if she didn’t work in live music she would be lost. At rVibe she works hands on to build a community of users as crazy about concerts as she is and to spread the word about great live music streaming in high quality.

Tom Morris West Cost Events Manager

A veteran music executive with a decade of major label experience, Tom has served in an A&R capacity at Virgin, Island Def Jam, Hollywood Records, and Sony Music. He got his start playing drums in the late eighties with Geffen recording act, Little Caesar. When he isn't drumming or immersed in music, Tom likes to surf and mountain bike. His favorite color is green.

Adrian Mukasa Production Manager

After touring all the major U.S. cities as a Video Engineer for StarQuest International and working as a Systems Engineer to webcast the U.S. Open Tennis Championship, he's back home in New York City. Adrian insures the logistics and production of all of rVibe's live events run smoothly by working with systems engineers and videographers, coordinating equipment and insuring Internet and audio configurations at venues are confirmed. Adrian has given presentations about new live event production technology at the United Nations International School and New York University, where he studied and developed his craft.

Rabb Whitehead Systems Engineer

Rabb has extensive experience capturing and designing sound. He is proficient with Pro Tools and other audio software. He has a B.F.A. in Sound Design from Savannah College of Art & Design, and has served as the sound designer for award winning independent films. He is also an accomplished music theorist and recently re-located to New York City from the great state of Missouri.
